Â鶹´«Ã½

2.2 Â鶹´«Ã½ Usage

Using the Â鶹´«Ã½ Logo

The Â鶹´«Ã½ (Â鶹´«Ã½) logo appears in the upper-left corner of every page on the ung.edu website. No other Â鶹´«Ã½ logo should appear on the page. Do not copy the logo off of the website for use in other materials. The version on the web was created for this platform and should only be used here. If you need the Â鶹´«Ã½ logo, contact graphics@ung.edu.

For more information regarding the correct usage and variations of the Â鶹´«Ã½ logo, see Branding at Â鶹´«Ã½.

Using the University Name

  • It is a best practice to use Â鶹´«Ã½ (Â鶹´«Ã½) for the first reference in text. For secondary references, Â鶹´«Ã½ is appropriate.
  • For a specific campus, use, for example, Â鶹´«Ã½'s Gainesville Campus for the first reference. Â鶹´«Ã½'s Gainesville Campus can be used in subsequent mentions.
  • Never use “NG”, or any of the previous institution's names to reference current activities at Â鶹´«Ã½.
  • The noun “university” is not capitalized when it stands alone.
